LITTLE WHITE BOOK FOR EASTER
THE LITTLE WHITE BOOK for EASTER – 2010 will be available on MARCH 27 and 28 after each mass in our church.
The book contains readings for each day beginning the FIRST MONDAY after EASTER and ending on PENTECOST SUNDAY.
The right-hand page will focus on St. Luke's resurrection narrative and the first part of the Acts of the Apostles. The left-hand page has a variety of information about the Easter Season, or the various traditions and customs, or lives of saints whose feast fall on a particular day.
You read a short scripture passage and simply let God speak to you through the words, guiding you to reflections that sometimes seem to come from nowhere.
People are often surprised at how easy it is to pray this way, and how deep such prayer can be.
IT IS A GREAT WAY TO CONNECT WITH GOD EACH DAY AND TO STRENGTHEN YOUR FAITH.
It can change your day. It can change your life.
Members of the education committee provide the books. A $1 donation to defray costs would be appreciated, but it is not necessary.
