Activities

During the month of October, the Knights of Columbus hosted the Coffee Hours on each Sunday after the 10:30 Mass.
   

On October 4th, Council 3600 held a Pancake Breakfast to raise money for Saint Thomas the Apostle School. On October 8th we presented a check for $600.00 to Principal Colleen DiSanto for the school.
   

During October, the Knights of Columbus responded to Parishioner's needs by helping one family move from one apartment to another, by building a deck for another Parishioner in need and by installing some grab bars in the Rectory for Father Murphy.
   

This Fraternal Year, the Monsignor John F. Callahan Council received the STAR Council Award for their many charitable programs in our community and for membership growth. An awards night celebration was held in New Haven at Knights of Columbus Museum.
   

For two weekends in October members of Council 3600 collected money at Food Mart and Stop & Shop for People with Intellectual Disabilities.
   

On October 24-25 the Knights of Columbus participated in the 24 Hour Adoration at Saint Thomas the Apostle Chapel to end abortion. Also on Saturday October 24th the Knights of Columbus joined in the celebration of World War II Veterans at Hall High School from 8:30 to 11:00 am.

   

On Sunday November 15 the Knights of Columbus will hold a "Rosary For Veterans" immediately after the 10:30 Mass at the Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle. We will be joined by the Knights of Columbus Honor Guard. Everyone is welcome to join in the Prayers for our Veterans. Light refreshments will be served after the Rosary.
