Shawl Knitting: A Ministry of Love and Connection

The Prayer Shawl Ministry began at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in March 2007.

At the present time we have 10-12 women who attend the meetings which are the 1st Wednesday of each month, all year round. From 10:30a.m. to 11:45a.m.

Shawls have been knitted and given to friends, family members, and people who just needed a shawl.

Simple directions to begin: You will need 3 skeins of Lion Brand Homespun yarn, and size 11 or 13 size needles. We will provide the instructions.
