Respect Life

An informal organization dedicated to promoting greater respect for the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death. Activities focus on parish education for Respect Life Month in October, parish awareness of pro-life laws under consideration by the legislature, prayer vigils and coordinating with the efforts of other pro-life groups in Connecticut. The members participate at state and national levels for pro-life marches and meetings.

Meetings are held quarterly with dates announced in advance in the weekly bulletin.

Committee members gather each Wednesday at 3PM in the lower church specifically for prayer to end abortion. We pray the rosary and the chaplet of divine mercy. If your schedule permits, please join us. All are welcome for this brief period of prayer which lasts approximately ½ hour.
