Social Action Committee
Social Action comes in many forms: social justice, social work, feeding those who cannot feed themselves, clothing those without clothing, sheltering those who do not have a place to stay.
At St. Thomas the Apostle, we are working to build a network of volunteers to help not only our fellow parishioners who come to us for help, but to help those in the surrounding area that are in need. This week we introduce for your consideration and action a modest request: if you have two hours a month, give your time off the top, and live your faith by helping others.
Contact any of our committee members to join in our active ministry. Father Edward Moran is chairing this committee for 2009. Also part of the committee are Mary Ann Lopez, Mary Nerbonne, Carole Mulready, George Coppolo, Sam Bianchi, Deacon Kevin and Lori Monahan, Clare Kindall, Janet Quinn, Susan Ruffee, and Chinonmso Ewilike, NND.
